DREAMS NOT ENDING

Today when I heard that a mother spent her life's hard earned money on her son so that his future would be good. Perhaps after this accident, every mother fears in her heart that her son will bring a gift on his return or that the mother will have to be rejuvenated to bring back her coffin. But if the answer is that the mother will have to be rejuvenated, then This is cruelty. This cannot be a test of God because God rewards hard work and does not destroy it like this.

This is the story of an Indian boy who came to Saudi Arabia thinking that future generations would see a better future, but ended up with the same dreams forever. If a worker dies in Saudi Arabia, it is sometimes as difficult for poor families to bring their loved one's body back home as it is to send them to work in a Gulf country. Pakistan or India, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka. The difficulty in this regard is the same for all.

When these workers go to the Gulf countries, they are dreaming about the future and thinking that by earning money, they will be able to provide a better life for themselves, their children and their families, but all dreams come true.

What the family did not do to send 26-year-old Ram Milan from India to Saudi Arabia. His Begum sold her jewellery, his mother went door to door to collect money. The 70-year-old father raised his son with the savings earned from his rickshaw puller.Ram Milan's two children would not have prayed for the success of their father, whose dreams of better education in their eyes, Ram left his home for Saudi Arabia.

But just a few days after the departure, the family members received such a terrible news that it struck them like lightning and shattered all their dreams. And now the situation is that Ram Milan's family is praying to bring his dead body back home from Saudi Arabia. Ram Milan's family has been waiting for his body for several weeks. Ram Millan died last month in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, where Ram Millan worked as a cleaner at Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd University.

According to Rammilan's mother, Nathi Devi, after the news of her son's death, even the stove was not lit in the house for ten days. Neighbors and relatives used to arrange for two meals. Her tears were unstoppable while mentioning the death of her son and she kept repeating the same phrase 'somehow show me my son's face.'Ram Milan has two daughters, Sanjana is only six months old while the eldest daughter Sandhya is three years old.

Ram Milan's wife Rajonti said that her husband wanted both their daughters to get better education and he went to Saudi Arabia with this in mind. In a low voice, he said that before going to Saudi Arabia, he used to work at a brick kiln, sometimes in the fields, sometimes in Delhi and sometimes in Mumbai. In this way, they could save only 20 to 30 thousand rupees throughout the year. Most of it was spent on the treatment of my mother-in-law and father-in-law. That is why Ram Milan decided to go to Saudi Arabia.

His mother Nathi Devi said that one hundred and thirty thousand rupees were spent on sending her son to Saudi Arabia. She says that out of this, I had taken a loan of around 85 thousand rupees from relatives, which has not been paid yet. While some money was collected by my daughter-in-law by selling her jewellery.Ram's wife Rajonti says, 'I sold the jewelery thinking that tomorrow when I have money, I will buy it again. But who knows the future, now they are not in this world, I am also responsible for the non-maintenance of two daughters and mother-in-law. Now I don't even have jewelery to sell. Ram Milan's 70-year-old father Inderjit Saroj is an asthmatic.

He says that I raised four sons by driving a rickshaw. I have been at home for eight years due to asthma. Three sons live separately. I live with Rammilan's family. Five years ago, I got this small house in the Prime Minister's Housing Scheme, then I was blessed with a roof to cover my head, my son went to Saudi Arabia, so I thought things would change now, but something else was written in destiny.

About his son, the father says that on February 27 of this year, my son went to Jeddah for a salary of 1,000 Rials in the Main Power Supply Company. But then his work was stopped for three months, but during this time the company continued to give him three hundred riyals for food. "In June, Ram Milan's company sent him to Dammam and on August 18, he said that he would send the payments for June, July and August together on September 5 to pay off part of the debt."Now the question is, when and how will it be paid after the son's death?

On Rammilan's outstanding salary, Surya Narayan, his supervisor in Dammam, said that his company has completed the payment process, which will be sent to Rammilan's family soon. According to foreign workers, the compensation process varies depending on the nature of the death. For example, there is separate compensation for accident at work, while it is very less for natural death. While the time taken to settle the compensation claim varies from case to case depending on the complexity of the case.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, after submitting the application through the web link, the concerned Indian Embassy takes all necessary steps to bring the deceased back to India and get the death compensation. As per standard practice it is sent through the embassy to the concerned District Magistrate in India. Alternatively, the employer can transfer the amount directly to the family. On the question of what was the last conversation with Ramalan? Rammilan's mother Nathi Devi said that the last thing was said to her son on the morning of August 18. Ram Mullan made a video call before going to duty that day.

During the conversation, he said, "Mom, I am having pain in the chest, after that he took off his shirt and showed me, "Mom, see how much he is sweating."Nathi Devi said that I told Ram Milan that you should not go to work today. Rest in your room. See a doctor if necessary. After that, Ram Mullan disconnected the call.

"I was very worried about my husband's chest pain," said Rajonti. So after cooking I started calling them from around 11 pm. But they didn't talk. After that my brother who lives in Pune called in the evening. Said that Ram Milan died of a heart attack, he read the news on a friend's timeline on Facebook. "We all couldn't believe it because in our six years of married life, we never saw Ram Milan sick," said Rajvanthi.

28-year-old Umesh Kumar Saroj, brother of Ram Malin, says that I immediately contacted the supervisor and asked why you did not get my brother treated by a doctor. We could do something.'

It was reported that he died of a heart attack

Surya Narayan, supervisor of Ram Millan in Dammam, said about Ram Millan that 'Ram Millan was ready to go to duty at the university on the day of his death. Informed Babu that he would not be able to go to work.'After twenty minutes, Chandrababu reached the university and told me that Rammilan is not well, he will rest. After some time, Mohammad Ghalib, who lived in Ram Milan's room, called me and told me that he died of a heart attack. 40 days have passed since the death of Ram Milan. But his dead body has not been brought to India yet. People belonging to different nationalities live in the village 'Amura' of Ram Milan. 20 houses belong to Yadav, 45 houses belong to Lodhi community, 20 houses belong to Muslims while the same are inhabited by people from other communities. The youth of this village have a tendency to go to Gulf countries to work.

Therefore, irrespective of religion and caste, all the people of the village are equally involved in the suffering of Ram Milan's family. Every morning they come to Rammilan's house with the hope that news of the body will come today. Rizvi told BBC that on August 20, I went to the residence of the DM of Kushambi with the family of the deceased, he was not there, he asked to meet the SDM on the phone. We did all the paperwork as per the SDM's instructions.

Ten days after the death, his family received a call from the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia to produce and send the NOC. The next day after making the NOC, we went to the ADM office but got a reply from there that if they want the NOC, they should file an application for it. The letter I sent for the NOC was answered that we cannot send the NOC after talking on the phone. Aman Rizvi said that after that I called the Indian Embassy in Riyadh and informed about the matter, they gave an email address, to which the NOC and application were sent. But after that, weeks passed and nothing happened.

"I met local MP Vinod Sonkar. He asked the Foreign Secretary through mail for all the information related to Ram Milan, the reply came that all the documents related to the NOC have been received. Some regulatory action is pending by the company, further action will be notified accordingly. It is the 11th day but there is no further update. When his body was not found even after 40 days, Kushambi DM Sujith Kumar said, "I will find it and let you know." But no update has been found yet.

When information was not received from the Kushambi district administration, the BBC contacted M.R. Sanjeev, Counselor for Community Welfare at the Indian Embassy in Riyadh. He said that 'Ram Milan died on August 18 and on receiving the death notice, the embassy issued a NOC certificate to send the body to India on September 14. It has now been reported that the cargo booking process is underway and the body is expected to be dispatched in two to three days. Reaching India's dead is not just about Ram Milan. One of the reasons for taking longer time is the delay in depositing money by the guarantor or guarantor, apart from completing the necessary paperwork. According to Ram Malin's mother, "I sent my son out with a loan and now they are collecting the loan to bring his body home."

Impossible  is not fact but I am possible is reality if you have dreams.
